Begnins is halfway between Geneva and Lausanne, located at an altitude of 540m, the village of Begnins covers 472 hectares, 60 of forests and 100 of vines.
The village forms a balcony on Lake Geneva: you can admire 72 peaks - including Mont Blanc - from the Belvedere. This geographical location has determined its development.
It allowed the cultivation of vine, which was introduced in Roman times, and with it the existence of an agricultural and artisanal community.
The beauty of the site has attracted many painters and writers.
